Kitchen This transitional kitchen combines warm toned painted beige and stained walnut cabinetry with a cool toned stainless-steel hood and oversized refrigerator/freezer. The Taj Mahal quartzite countertops with swirling tones of beige, brown, caramel, gray and white tie all the finishes together. The bright white stacked room crown, true divided lite mullion windows, casing and apron front sink add traditional elements while the art deco style Murano antiqued glass sconces add a modern touch. The traditional beaded inset cabinetry features a modern beveled door style. Off-white is used for the antiqued Italian subway tile backsplash on the range wall and matte finish pendant lights to quietly compliment the other finishes. Texture is brought in through the satin brass hardware with hammered and knurled detailing, the brass mesh inserts, decorative patterned toe kick vent cover, the plumbing fixtures with coining detail and the counter stools with leather and woven cane. The repetition of two-tone finishes throughout the space adds unique interest and cohesion.
Butler’s Pantry The butler’s pantry nook continues this theme, repeating the kitchen finishes but switching to unlacquered brass latch hardware and a darker stain on the walnut. This flush inset cabinetry features a beaded shaker door style and exposed ball finial hinges with earth magnet soft close. Both drawers are modified with a docking drawer insert for charging and a finished walnut interior.
